Last week I didn’t post a tuesday newsday…. I didn’t really have anything of value to say, so I didn’t want to bore you with my babble.
Last week, running wise, I took it pretty easy because I knew marathon training was staring!!!!!
But I had a pretty awesome weekend. Friday, I didn’t do much because I was house sitting three crazy dogs. But saturday after work, I got to see my Dad, who is in town for a week, and I met up with one of my best friends and did this….
We then joined the company of other great people and enjoyed pancakes at a local diner. Mmmm…chocolate chip pancakes.
Sunday followed with climbing indoors and dinner in longmont with my mom. I drove to longmont for dinner but also to meet my friend from fort collins to do a hike.
We left longmont at 9 pm to get a few hours of sleep and start hiking at 3 am…….why in the world do I do these things to myself!? I conquered my second 14er, Long’s Peak, and believe me, I’m feeling it today. Hardest hike I’ve ever done, and no desire to do it again! You can definitely look forward to a post on this. Needless to say, I’m sore, bruised, scraped and my pride may be hurt a little.
Can I tell which ones “they” are? They? I see one in your nose. You had a pretty exciting weekend.
Nose is new and the dermal on my chest.
sweet! how do like the piercings so far?? i got my nose pierced literally the day after my senior recital haha – i had wanted it for years but it was such a hassle with opera productions and stuff so i just waited. now that i have it i love it, and i don’t look forward to the day that social reality makes me take it out lol.
Nice. I like my nose a lot! I actually never thought it would go with my face, but so many people have said, “you just now got that? I thought you already had that!” so I guess that’s a good sign that it goes with me. I really like my dermals though, I like the reactions I get from people when they see them lol. Luckily, I have a boss that didn’t care about the nose (or maybe she didn’t notice it?) and I don’t foresee myself having a job where I can’t have my nose.
Having a bull ring through the center of your nose is a job requirement in Portland.
hahahaha! The worst piercing ever. I’ve see one person in the entire world that actually looked good with that. It was some random girl that worked in a coffee shop in durango.
You went to Durango? I used to live there.
I know you did. I remember you telling me! And Yeah, two weekends ago. I was there for a Ultimate Frisbee hat tournament. And we went climbing around the area as well. It was a lot of fun, really pretty.
