So… I’m not very fashion-savy. Not in the least. I’ve never been up to speed on the latest trends and typically when I think something is cute/stylish, nobody else does. Now, that’s not to say I don’t LIKE looking cute and stylish, I’m just not very good at picking stuff out. I rarely crave going shopping and when I do go, I usually don’t end up having the patience for it and it stresses me out. Then again, I am not a typical girl!

The same goes for my running clothes. There’s a ton of cute athletic wear out there, but I just don’t find it. Most of my running clothes have been given to me for free (shirts from races and gear from my job with 3W Races) or bought at Walmart (sports bras and shorts). I do have a lot of Skirt Sports gear from when I was an ambassador for them and that’s about as “cute” and stylish as I get.

Thankfully, a solution is out there for people like me. Let me introduce you to Mercury Mile. This shopping delivery service is perfect for the busy runner, the shopping-phobic person, and the fashion-deficit active person. They find out what you’re like and what kind of clothes you like and a stylist hand-picks outfits out for you! It’s not a subscription service; you don’t get boxes on a monthly bases, but you can trigger as many boxes as you want!

It’s super easy too and totally takes the stress off of going shopping!

Step 1: Fill out your runner’s profile
This is actually pretty fun and asks you a ton of running-apparel questions to get a good sense of your style and the type of runner you are. This plays into the type of clothes you’ll need. It only takes about 5-10 minutes.

Step 2: Wait for your package to come in the mail!
It really only took a couple of days and it was on my doorstep!

Step 3: Un-Box and try on everything
Better yet, hold a little fashion show in your bedroom!

Step 4: Only keep what you like and mail back everything else in the pre-postaged mailer that’s included in the box!

This was the first time I had ever tried anything like this and I was pretty impressed. I think my stylist did a pretty good job. In the runner’s profile that you fill out, you can link your Instagram account as well for them to take a look at and see what you typically wear. When my box came, there was a note from the stylist and it even referenced things from the runner’s profile and my Instagram!

The best part is, it doesn’t cost more than going to the store! You only pay for what you keep and even though there’s a $20 stylist fee, that goes toward the items you keep! I ended up keeping two of the items that I really loved. I liked all the rest, but they didn’t fit me quite right. Now, I could have exchanged them for different sizes (another cool feature) but I opted out to save money!

I would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for some stylish, new running or activewear clothes! It totally takes the hassle out of going to the store, is taylored just for you, and costs the same amount as shopping out and about! They also do this for men, too!

What do you think of the outfit I kept!?
